    So I just installed Lunar Client [it is built on OptiFine so I didn't need to install it separately]. 1.8 works fine. It is quite responsive, and gives ~100 FPS on mid to mid-high settings. Low gives 110+, and high gives 60-. But for some reason, 1.18 is a total wreck. It gives me 50- FPS on Low to Mid-high settings. Reducing the graphics quality doesn't affect the FPS at all. In fact, the lag even reached the cursor. Say my FPS is under 45, and my mouse becomes jumpy and stuttery. Also, the problem with the mouse is limited to only singleplayer worlds. Nothing happens on servers. But the FPS

    java error trying to minecraft


    can anyone briefly explain what this error means? i have reinstalled java and have java 8 u 60 64bit. i have set factory default on my router. i have restarted the computer and minecraft.

    other places say minecraft can't communicate with itself, although java is allowed in firewall both private and public..

    Java(TM) Platform SE Binary - Minecraft Mod Installation

    Hi, I have been trying to install a program on minecraft recently. The mod is called Optifine, used to reduce lag while playing Minecraft. I have looked at many youtube videos and they have all told me to install Java to run the optifine installer. However,
    when I downloaded Java, and clicked on the Optifine installer, it would not open. It gave me an error, saying Java Installation Not Complete, and says that there are errors in the following switches: (Location of the optifine file)

    Please help, and tell me if this doesn't make any sense, I will try to elaborate.
