Windows 10: Minecraft Java w/Windows 10 S Mode

I have gotten Minecraft Java Edition on our computer for my son and now he wants to get it for his laptop. It says if you already downloaded it then you get it for free which is awesome. The only problem is that it says it won't run is S mode. Which I'm guessing means "security". And there is NO WAY I'm turning that off. Is there another way to download it with S mode?

Help opening programs w/ java

For some reason my computer runs .jar files with LightRoom. I just downloaded java. I selected a forge program for Minecraft to run it using java instead of LightRoom but when I try to Open With another program I don't see java. Help please.



My ultimate goal is to run pixelmon on minecraft. I first need to install forge to run pixelmon and minecraft so when I run stuff ugh

Hi, I downloaded Minecraft for windows 10 thinking it was java edition. once downloaded I later found out that it was not java and cannot download java edition bc I cannot seem to figure out how to get rid of the windows 10 off of my computer. When I click
on redeem code and java it says I already have Minecraft (talking abt non java) and need to switch out of S mode to get java edition. please help, I have emailed this company and Minecraft and they give me answers that aren't what I need. how can I switch
the non java for java edition without being overcharged for it. I have been on my computer for 5 days trying to figure this out and I just need a solution asap. I need help
