Windows 10: Minecraft Launcher on Microsoft Store does not download/install button turns grey but does...

So I uninstalled Minecraft Launcher and tried to reinstall it again but it seems like the install button turns grey when I click on it. It does nothing and wont install the actual game. I've tried many solutions on the web and still could not fix this issue. Problem with the minecraft launcher.

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

There are many reasons why you can't log in to Minecraft Launcher, but all of them are due to Microsoft Store and related services. I will provide several methods to try to solve this problem, please refer to the following steps for operation:

• Clear the cache on Microsoft Store.
  

1. Press the Windows logo key + R, type wsreset.exe, and select OK.
   
2. After a few seconds a blank command prompt window will appear, which will disappear after about ten seconds and the Microsoft Store will open automatically.This means the cache was cleared successfully.
   

• Make sure you're using the Microsoft Store Install Service.
  

1. Services.msc can be found by pressing Windows Key + S and typing services.msc.
   
2. Locate and double-click the Microsoft Store Install Service; if the status is Running, right-click it and select Restart.
   
3. Change it to Automatic if it's disabled, then click Start and OK.
   

• Reinstall the Microsoft Store app
  

1. Press Windows key + X
   
   Click and Run Windows PowerShell(run as Administrator)Copy and paste the command below then hit Enter:
   
   

• Reinstall the Minecraft Launcher
  

1. Click Start >Settings >Apps，find "Minecraft Launcher" in all apps.
   
2. Click on the "Minecraft Launcher" Advanced options >Uninstall the application.
   
3. Open the Microsoft Store, search for "Minecraft Launcher", download and install it again, and log in to your account to see if it works.

Unable to Download New Minecraft Launcher from Microsoft Store

I am unable to download the new Minecraft Launcher from the store and I'm seeing an Error Code: 0x89235172.

I have tried multiple ways of fixing this:

• Correct date/time & time zone
  
• Troubleshooting Windows Store
  
• Wi-Fi enabled and working properly
  
• Checked proxy settings
  
• Repaired Windows Store using PowerShell
  
• Reset Windows Store
  
• Restart Computer
  
• System Up-to-Date
  
• Sign-out then sign-in.
  
• Tried installing from My Library
  
• Uninstalled old Minecraft Launcher
  

Please assist me on this, thank you.

 

Microsoft store install button greyed out

One day I tried opening Minecraft Launcher and I got an error saying to check Microsoft store for more info, when I opened it nothing happened so I uninstalled Minecraft. When I tried installing again, button gets greyed out and nothing happens. I have had this issue for months. I tried everything (troubleshooting, wsreset, update...) but nothing works. If someone could help me I would really appreciate it.
