Windows 10: Minecraft License not working. Can't sign in.

I purchased Minecraft many years ago for my son using my hotmail account. On his PC using my hotmail account we can see Minecraft Windows 10 edition is owned and can install it. Once installed it doesn't connect my account and show that it is a full version. It has an icon to sign in and one to unlock full game.

I have uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted the store app and as many things as I could think of or that showed up in various guides. I can't get anything to work.

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server

Transferring a license to another Microsoft account is currently not available. The license of the game will retain and can only be accessed to the account where it was purchased. You can still reinstall Minecraft to a new PC by signing in using the same
Microsoft account used to purchase the app in the Store.

Minecraft for Windows 10 Entitlement License missing?

I have redeemed two codes against my xbox Microsoft account. Installed Minecraft Windows 10 beta on many machines - however today from a machine that did not have it installed the Microsoft Store showed the title Minecraft Windows 10 with a price of 9.99
and not stating Owned or "Install".

I confirmed on billing that the redeem does show, however under showing all my apps I do not see Minecraft Windows 10 listed.

Did the old title get replaced by a new title id? Did existing entitlements not navigate towards to the new title id? Or is it most likely an issue with my machine. I have tried a few troubleshooting steps from signing out, signing in with the Mojang minecraft.exe
and signing back into the store but the state of the purchase entitlement remains unpurchased and not in my library.
