Windows 10: Minecraft: Something went wrong with the login process

I have used one account with my brother for years now, and all of a sudden it's not letting me go onto the account. It loads and then says "something went wrong with the login process." and I've tried everything. We are not technically smart so we find it difficult to follow intructions that want us to get into the files and stuff like that. It also won't even let us get into the account at all, literally the only thing you can do with the account is change the skin and click on it to get that message. We migrated it to microsoft and that's when we couldn't get in. Every single time I do somet

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server

You have to close Minecraft entirely and reopen it to change skins. It downloads the skin during the Minecraft login process (not server login).

Step 1: Reset the app.

1. Press Windows + I key to open Windows
   Settings.
   
2. Click on Apps and select
   Apps & feature from the left pane.
   
3. Scroll and look for the Minecraft app.
   
4. Select the app and click on Advanced option.
   
5. Click on Reset and once you see a tick mark, then relaunch and check.
