Windows 10: Minecraft Windows 10 Closes While Launching

Recently I wanted to start playing Minecraft again, but every time I try to lauch the game, it will flash the red Mojang screen for a few seconds before closing the application. All other games and software I have from the Microsoft store work properly, it is only Minecraft that will not run. So far I've tried the following troubleshooting steps:


-Updating/reinstalling video drivers
-Disabling the integrated GPU then re-enabling it and disabling the dGPU instead
-Manually selecting which GPU to launch the game with in the Windows graphics settings tried both the Intel GPU and the Nvidia GPU, neither worked
-Running the Windows Store troubleshooter no problems found
-Reseting the app
-Reinstalling the game
-Running sfc and dism
-Clean booting Windows then launching the game


After each of them the result was still the same with the game closing on the Mojang splash screen. I've found many support threads describing the same issue but none that have actually been able to resolve it. Is there really no fix for this currently?

Can't Launch Minecraft

Just bought and installed Minecraft for windows 10. Everytime i launch it it closes after 5 seconds and nothing else happens. My windows is updated and i bought the right minecraft version, what should i do?

 

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server
