Windows 10: Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition asking me to re-buy the $27 game

Hello Microsoft Community, So, a few years back in 2018, I claimed my Minecraft: Bedrock key from minecraft.net. Though, today, I tried to install the damned game and it installed, sure, but when I launch it it redirects me to the Trial version and asks me to buy the full game. Last time I played it was on my old pre-built PC after I first got it, though I do remember resetting it due to HP's bloatware. I've been desperately trying to get into contact with support about this because 1. The game is $26.99 2. I already remember OWNING THE GAME AND PLAYING IT 3. I can't play with any o

We understand that you have purchased Minecraft Windows 10 Edition and when you launch the game, you get a message to buy full version.



To be able to assist you in a better way, we will need the details requested below:

• From where did you purchase Minecraft i.e. Microsoft Store or Mojang?
  
• Did you redeem the code on Microsoft Store?
  
• Have you logged in with the same account in Minecraft through which you have purchased the game?
  

Ideally, this issue occurs when you have purchased the game using a different account and the Minecraft launcher is logged in with a different account. We would suggest you to sign out of Minecraft Launcher and sign in with the same account through
which the purchase was made.



If the issue persists, and if you have purchased the game from Microsoft Store, we would suggest you to get in touch with the

Microsoft Store support team. However, if you have purchased the game from Mojang, we would suggest you to get in touch with the

Mojang support team.

If you already played Minecraft from its previous PC or Mac version (running Java), you will be eligible to download Minecraft: Windows 10 edition for free. Normally, you'll be able to download the full version right after you redeem the Minecraft: Windows
10 Beta code to your Windows 10 computer. In your case, there's a possibility it doesn't detect the beta code that you redeemed. We recommend that you reset the Windows Store to clear the store cache on your computer by performing the following steps:

• Press  Windows key + X on your keyboard. 
• Click on Command prompt (Admin).
• Type wsreset.exe, and then hit Enter.
• Restart your computer and reinstall the game.
