Windows 10: Minecraft Windows 10 edition is extremely laggy

Just got a new computer and is almost 4 times the size of my last one which could never run games at all due to it being a work computer that was a hand-me-down from my dad. It could run games at a very high pace and when I got it I immediately started playing Minecraft. It was very smooth and was amazing. I stopped playing Minecraft for a month or so and would just play on my Xbox One. I started playing again and was playing online, I thought the lag was from the servers and then I realized that the lag was from the game when I started playing single player. Everytime I looked straight on surface level, the game would lag a lot. You have to look at the ground or sky or stay in an enclosed area such as a cave for the game not to lag out. The lag causes you not to want to go outside in the game which ruins the whole experience. I think the lag may come from my computer and not the game but does anybody have any advice for my problem?

If you already played Minecraft from its previous PC or Mac version (running Java), you will be eligible to download Minecraft: Windows 10 edition for free. Normally, you'll be able to download the full version right after you redeem the Minecraft: Windows
10 Beta code to your Windows 10 computer. In your case, there's a possibility it doesn't detect the beta code that you redeemed. We recommend that you reset the Windows Store to clear the store cache on your computer by performing the following steps:

• Press  Windows key + X on your keyboard. 
• Click on Command prompt (Admin).
• Type wsreset.exe, and then hit Enter.
• Restart your computer and reinstall the game.
