Windows 10: Minecraft windows 10 edition keeps telling me to buy full version

Hello,
I have recently downloaded Minecraft to my pc via Microsoft store but kept running into issues.
currently it keeps telling me to buy the full version when the title screen pops up. also sometimes Runtime Broker.exe error keeps popping up rendering my game to completely close and not able to open again until I restart my PC.

I have done everything I could to troubleshoot it via other threads on the community but none has worked.

Strongly leaning towards trying to get a refund because why would I pay 30$ for something that doesn't work.

I would definitely appreciate any feedback. I don't understand why im having so much trouble when I can run more demanding games.

If you already played Minecraft from its previous PC or Mac version (running Java), you will be eligible to download Minecraft: Windows 10 edition for free. Normally, you'll be able to download the full version right after you redeem the Minecraft: Windows
10 Beta code to your Windows 10 computer. In your case, there's a possibility it doesn't detect the beta code that you redeemed. We recommend that you reset the Windows Store to clear the store cache on your computer by performing the following steps:

• Press  Windows key + X on your keyboard. 
• Click on Command prompt (Admin).
• Type wsreset.exe, and then hit Enter.
• Restart your computer and reinstall the game.
