Windows 10: Minecraft Windows 10 edition - latest version 1.16.200 has screwed up my graphics and wont run

Has anyone else had this?


my kid was playing fine yesterday, and todays new update 1.16.200 and minecraft gui seems to have gone wrong. You can load the game, but the graphics are garbled. I've updated my graphic card driver AMD R5 320, and updated windows 10. Nothing helped. I've also reinstalled minecraft losing all my kids worlds in the process! what game deletes your save games when you uninstall without warning you???


Is there anyway I can roll back the versions of Minecraft?

Minecraft wont load with Windows 10

I suggest you to check the compatibility from the below:

As the game is not compatible then you need to install the game in compatibility mode and check for the issue to do that you need to follow the steps provided below.

• Locate the installer.exe or setup.exe file in your folder.
• Right-click on the file.
• From the contextual menu, choose Properties.
• Under Compatibility tab. Choose the version of Windows you want to emulate.
• Select the "Run this program in compatibility mode" checkbox. Run the installer

If you have the previous version of Minecraft, you may download its latest version for free. Click this

link to download the game.

You'll be asked to enter a game code. If you don't have the code, kindly perform the following steps:

• Sign in with your Mojang account.
• Under Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition, select the link to request a code. The Windows 10 Store will open.
  
  Note: You'll need to sign in to or create a Microsoft account. If you sign in, use the Microsoft account you use to sign in to your Xbox account.
• If you're running Windows 10, you'll be able to download the game right after redeeming your code. If you're running an earlier operating system, you'll need to come back to the Windows Store once you're running Windows 10.
