Windows 10: Minecraft Windows 10 stuck in beta and no 'solution' works!

I bought Minecraft Windows 10 almost half a year ago and instantly got put into the beta . I never installed the beta enrolment app thing nor the newest one and yet I still got put into it. I thought nothing of it and then uninstalled then reinstalled and still the same problem. I then installed the beta enrolment app and enrolled then unenrolled and yet I'm still in the beta .After some research I found some 'solutions' followed those and still I'm in the beta version. I left it since and just came back to it to see if anything has changed and done pretty much the same troubleshooting and it

In this case I suggest a new solution:

Step 1. Open the "Xbox Insider Hub" app, the same one used to register for the beta;

Step 2. Click on "Insider Content";

Step 3. Click on the Minecraft Beta phase you want to leave

Step 4. Below the beta description, click on "Manage";

Step 5. Change the option to "Do not register" and then click "Done";

Step 6. Click "Accept" to confirm your removal from the beta;

Step 7. Uninstall the game and download it again to play the traditional Minecraft version.

Minecraft Windows 10 Edition stuck in Beta (1.15)

I launched Minecraft and it was in 1.16.1. At this time, the 1.16.2 was released but mine hadn't updated. I uninstalled and re-installed but when I launched, it was in the 1.15 Beta edition. There is 1 user on this PC.

Have tried:

• Deleting the Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe folder in Appdata/Local/Packages
• Resetting the program data in the Apps&Features page in settings
• Restarted PC

Things to note:

• I have been part of the Insider Beta testing
• I have the Minecraft Starter collection
• The game installs significantly faster than expected which suggests that the files are locally stored on the PC and aren't being uninstalled properly
