Windows 10: Minecraft Windows Store error - "Unsupported 16-Bit Application"

I have just freshly installed Windows 10 22H2, installed all the Windows updates, installed all the Microsoft store updates, activated Windows 10, rebooted the pc, installed Steam and finally was trying to install Minecraft which I already own to play Bedrock or Java.When I see Minecraft in the Store, it has a Play button, so it knows I've previously purchased it.Pressing the play button or selecting 'Open' fro the Library/Update screen yields: "Unsupported 16-Bit application", which you can see in the screen capture below. You can also see the Windows version details.There is no way for m

A Windows 95 game is 35 years old, or 350 years old in computer years (1=10 years ratio) so that's the level of impossibility you're asking.

However it is possible to get 16 bit applications running in Windows 10 as shown here:

There is nothing else I find for that game in Windows 10 so it's likely it's not possible.

Unsupported 16-Bit Application

Hey there I'm tring to run Nerf Jr. Foam Blaster: Attack of the Kleptons (see https://nerf.fandom.com/wiki/Nerf_Jr._Foam_Blaster:_Attack_of_the_Kleptons!)
on my laptop and I got this error

Unsupported 16-Bit Application

The program or feature "\??\E:\SETUP.EXE" cannot start or run due to incompatibility with 64-bit versions of Windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit Windows compatible version is available

I don't know how I can make it compatable?

 

Get "Unsupported 16-bit application error" message. but...

...only on some computers!

I know the application is actually a 32-bit application, but it runs just fine in several Windows 10 computers.
But then there're other Windows 10 machines, where I am getting the 16-bit (???) unsupported app.

Totally baffled! Puzzled.

Any ideas???
