Windows 10: Minecraft won’t install, do I need a certain update?

Hey guys,

So I’ve tried all the possible troubleshoots for installing minecraft from the Microsoft store but it still just will not even start downloading. I think I have the updated version of windows but each time I go into the settings to check for updates it freezes for a long time and doesn’t show me anything that I need to update, and so I don’t know what updates I should do or what version I have and if i should go online and get an update from there or if that’ll further mess it up.

I’m fairly new to windows so I’m a little lost right now. I tried resetting the Microsoft store in all the ways that the forums have said to, and done the cache which I’m not even sure if any of that even did anything at all. I’m completely at a loss. All I wanted was to get Minecraft to de stress after work and now it’s causing me so much trouble I’m gonna have a panic attack. Please.

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

There is a complete step by step available, if you have any issues ...

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server
