Windows 10: Minidump file does not exist no matter what

    Minidump file does not exist no matter what


    Ever since i got some issues related to kernel power, i have been finding guides online and applied those methods, but none work. I even thought of resetting my lenovo laptop, erasing every single thing, it has failed to do so, saying there was a problem while resetting and that no changes were made. Then, after trying to fix that, it doesnt work either. I also did startup repair, but windows couldn't repair my pc, even with "solutions" online. So after all those, I reached out to the Microsoft community for better ways, I had to have a minidump file containing what went wrong during the bsod.

    I have tried the steps and folder doesn't exist or no file.

    Can someone please execute these minidumps and post back the information i can't get the symbols to work on vista. ( the minidumps are from windows xp service pack 2)

    okay ive done the same thing as you but i cant put the file back into the folder

    • Copy nvlddmkm.sys in C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\nv_dispi.inf_amd64_5518e59e8d3b48f4\ to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\ and replace the existing one.
