Windows 10: Minimized windows being sent to "Show hidden icons"

Discus and support Minimized windows being sent to "Show hidden icons" in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; So, when I minimize my window, it gets sent to the hidden icons box, which is really annoying.     Minimized windows being sent to "Show hidden icons"


    So, when I minimize my window, it gets sent to the hidden icons box, which is really annoying. I have tried disabling some settings about displays, but it didn't work. The custom theme software I use are RetroBar, WindowBlinds 11, and Open-Shell.     Hidden icon menu not showing in taskbar

    • [NEW] After upgrading to Build 22610, the “Show hidden icons” flyout in the system tray may disappear completely for some Insiders, even though it shows as “on” under Settings > Personalization > Taskbar and “Other system tray icons”. We are investigating the issue. As a workaround if you need access to the icons that would show in the “Show hidden icons” flyout, you can go right-click on taskbar to open the Taskbar settings page, navigate to the “Other system tray icons” and individuals toggle specific apps to “On” until the issue is resolved.

    Show hidden icons

    This suggestion would work. However consider the following two items.

    1st I'd prefer to have selected icons remain hidden so as not to crowd out the select few I have on the taskbar, and

    2nd if the loading of the last many items in the 'hidden icon box' resulted in a 'closing of the box' that would be a key in knowing everything is good to go which is the prime reason for the suggested selection at boot.

    How to make a Uber Hidden Folder

    • Make a new folder.
    • Change the icon to a blank icon. No icon should appear
    • Rename the folder to a blank by pressing "alt + 255." (NOTE: Press 255 on the numpad) No text should appear.
    • Your done! It is uber hidden. *Big Grin Minimized windows being sent to "Show hidden icons" :D
