    Like the title says, the Mining rig doesn't crash, doesn't give me a BSOD. it only freezes on the same frame it was inI've searched for the problem in event viewer and found this:"The previous system shutdown at 1:38:48 PM on ‎1/‎16/‎2022 was unexpected.Source: EventLogEventID: 6008after I've searched for a bit I found this thread: BSOD Finding and fixing them - Microsoft Communitythat suggested I save some files and upload them here to get helpthese are the files requested:require files - Google DriveId appreciate any help

    Windows 10 *FORCED* update completely jacked my $7000 rig up.

    Is your rig used for mining bitcoin?

    About the FORCED part, I turned on my pc and it was updating,it told me to not turn it off as it would corrupt something or whatever that message is for. Also i would love to use any linux distro, in fact this rig is the only computer i own with windows
    on it, all the rest either have ubuntu, zorin, mint, etc.

    The only reason i don't use linux on my mining rig is compatibility issues, trying to run the mining software, the wallet, and all keep it on a relatively low power cycle is impossible.

    You see i am a man of efficiency, not of raw power, the more efficient your rig is, the more money your rig earns in the long run, my specs are very beefy, but relative to the computing power, takes up almost no electricity, i make much more a day than i
    spend on running the rig in the first place.

    At first, yes i did try and use a linux distro, but the specific program i use for mining is
    not compatible, nor is the wallet.

    You see i'm not an idiot i just have exhausted all my options on fixing it, i've got no clue and if the comments aren't pertaining to the thread i would enjoy for you people to see yourselves out.

    P.S, Did you even look at the screenshots of my screen? they obviously are not
    okay.

    Sweet rigs everyone. I finally got time to take some horrible pics, still need to go back and clean up the cables. First is before the Ti as it's still air at the moment and might stay as its cooler is so far pretty impressive and relatively quiet.

    Building a NAS rig

    Hi,

    I'm thinking about building a NAS rig. Not so much worried hardware, and in fact have a complete i7-950 system with12 gig of RAM just sitting in my closet looking for something to do.

    What I'm curious about is the software side? I ran across a free software called FreeNAS and wondering if anyone has any experience with it or any other NAS software I should look at.

    Suggestions/Thoughts?
