    Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

    Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

    Steps to confirm issue:

    • Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
    • Secondary drive not visible in device manager
    • Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

    Steps to replicate issue:

    • Installing 1909 update

    Steps to resolve issue:

    • Uninstall 1909 update

    Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

    Windows 1909 Update / Clean Install - Bluescreens and Bootloops

    Hi Community

    Some days ago I updated my system to Windows 1909. Right on the reboot I received a bluescreen, and ended up in a bootloop.

    After using the windows repair options (and resetting the system), I was able to access my system again.

    The next day when I tried to boot the system, I recieved bluescreens again and was unable to access the system. Resets ended up in a bootloop or also in a bluescreen.

    Yesterday I tried to install windows 10 fresh from a USB drive, and it also just returns bluescreens. No chance to access the system!

    System Information:

    Proc: Intel i7 i3820

    MB: Asus P9X79 Pro

    Ram: 32GB 2133mhz

    GC: Sapphire Radeon RX480 8GB

    HD0: OCZ 240GB

    HD1: Toshiba 2TB

    HD2: Intel 520 SSD (512GB)

    Booting up an Ubuntu live OS is possible and the memtest86+ doesn't show any issues.

    Bluescreen messages I recieve:

    "IRQL_NOT_GREATER_OR_EQUAL"

    "KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED"

    "CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT"

    Any Ideas? Minor update of Windows live me on a bootloop ...(1909) :(
