    Minotor cant be turned on after automatically turn off for inactivity


    Yeah it just turn off and then i immediately register keyboard/mouse input to make the monitor not to fall asleep, too bad it didnt respond and none of the input actually woke it up i have tried for several minutes. I had to shut it down and turn it on againNot sure what caused this. The only thing i did change was TdrDelay value to 10 from a youtube guideThis also happened with my old & dead GT 730 this was before i added TdrDelay registryi dont know which topic to choose, sorry for the inconvenience

    Automatic Updates will not turn on

    Hi,
    I have just installed the April update for Windows 10, and was curious why it hadn't automatically installed, as previous updates had done.
    Now when I go into Settings>Updates & Security>Advanced Options, when I try to turn on Automatic Updates it turns straight back off, and will not stay on at all.
    Does anyone have any suggestions, please?

    Hi Ahmed,

    Since you're not able to turn on Windows Defender as well, we'd like to know if you have made any changes recently prior to this issue. In the meantime, you may follow the steps below on how to turn on Windows Defender manually:

    • Type Windows Defender in the Search bar and press
      Enter.
    • Go to Settings and make sure that the Turn on real-time protection recommended option is turned on.
    Same thing with the other members who are having the same issue, we suggest that you check if the service was setup to
    Automatic in the Services option. Please follow the steps that we've provided last
    September 3, 2017.

    Let us know how if you were able to turn it on properly by changing the Startup type to Automatic.

    Hello BreadedChicken, and welcome to Ten Forums. Minotor cant be turned on after automatically turn off for inactivity :)

    The Occasionally show suggestions in Start setting is only for the Suggested apps shown in the All Apps list in the Start menu instead.

    *Arrow Turn On or Off App Suggestions on Start in Windows 10 Windows 10 Customization Tutorials

    You can also turn off automatic installation of suggested apps to completely stop them. Be sure to also read the blue note box at the top of the tutorial below for more info.
