    Miracast configure

Please I need an evaluation of my situation:

    Equipment:

Laptop: Windows 10 connected with WiFi from internet router

Desktop: Windows 10 connected with ethernet cable from internet router

Roku Ultra connected with WiFi from internet router

Samsung TV with MS Wireless Display Adapter connected

In the laptop Action Center select "Connect"

    Options displayed:

    Roku Ultra

    MS Wireless Display

For both of these after selecting the message "failed to connect" is displayed

In the desktop Action Center select "Connect"

The only display option is the desktop display monitor

I do not really understand what is going on: hardware, software, improper settings....

What is a procedure to troubleshoot?

    Thanks much for suggestions...

    John S.

    :)

    Does Miracast support 4K?

    Hello,

We suggest that you check with the manufacturer of the 4k display device that you are using if it is certified to work with Miracast. If your display device is certified to work with Miracast, then check if your PC device supports Miracast. You may do so
    by following the steps below:

    • Click Start, then go to Settings >
      Projecting to this PC
      .
    • Check if your device supports Miracast.

    Regards.
