Windows 10: miracast disabled by W10 update KB5009543

I have determined that the "Project" Windows 10 feature using miracast is being disabled by the update KB5009543. If I uninstall this update, everything is fine. There is no way I have found to prevent this update from automatically reinstalling the next time Windows does a check for updates on my laptop. As soon as I reboot, the update is back and miracast will not work. So, I have to keep uninstalling KB5009543 and hope that MS fixes this bug. I did find that MS is aware that this update and another caused problems with L2TP and some VPNs. I really do not understand the terms as I am not a s

Does Miracast support 4K?

We suggest that you check with the manufacturer of the 4k display device that you are using if it is certified to work with Miracast. If your display device is certified to work with Miracast, then check if your PC device supports Miracast. You may do so
by following the steps below:

• Click Start, then go to Settings >
  Projecting to this PC.
• Check if your device supports Miracast.
