    Colors totally wrong for second screen with Miracast Project in Win 10.

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

    To address the issue, kindly help us with the following queries:

    1. Which version of Windows is installed on both HP and Surface machine?
    2. Have you tried casting from the Surface device to another PC through Miracast? If yes, how is the quality of the picture?

    Meanwhile, to isolate the issue, I would suggest you to project your HP machine to other external monitor/devices apart from TCL TV and check if the same issue persists.

    However, you may follow the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the following article:

    Miracast connectivity issue

    Thank you for your reply.

    Here are the possible reasons why you cannot see the "Connect to a wireless display" button:

    • The Display Adapters are having an issue.
    • The monitor you want to connect wirelessly doesn't support Miracast.
    • The graphics card installed on your laptop doesn't support Miracast.

    Based on the information you've provided, the monitor you want to connect doesn't support Miracast. We suggest getting a new monitor that supports Miracast.
