Windows 10: Miracast unable to connect to external display

I have a laptop that will not connect to wireless displays by MiracastWhen connecting to a wireless display, the display provides a PIN code, but when I enter the PIN number, the connection fails with error "Couldn't connect to your device"I have 100+ of the same laptop in my environment that work without issueDevice info:HP ProBook 435 G7AMD Rysen 5 2.38ghz16gb RAMWin 10 Enterprise 22H2Troubleshooting:- Tested on numerous windows update versions- All available drivers from HP Support Assist installed- Manual testing of various WiFi, display and BIOS 1.08, 1.12, 1.13 drivers from HP driver c

Thank you for this information. Follow the steps listed below to connect your device:

• If your TV doesn't come with a built-in Miracast support, connect the external adapter into the HDMI port of your TV and power it on.
  
• On your PC, open Settings and tap Devices.
• Under Connected Devices select Add a device.
• You can connect it by opening the Action Center (Windows key + A)
  and select Connect.

If you are still unable to connect, try restarting your PC and the display/adapter. You can also remove the device completely and adding it once again.

If the issue persists, be sure to update your display and network adapter drivers . Else, you may want to consider using a

Microsoft Wireless Display adapter.

Does Miracast support 4K?

We suggest that you check with the manufacturer of the 4k display device that you are using if it is certified to work with Miracast. If your display device is certified to work with Miracast, then check if your PC device supports Miracast. You may do so
by following the steps below:

• Click Start, then go to Settings >
  Projecting to this PC.
• Check if your device supports Miracast.

We'd love to help out. What exactly happens when you try to connect using Miracast?

If it helps, you can try to set up Miracast again. See steps below:

• If the television comes with a built-in Miracast support, turn it on. If not, connect the external adapter into the HDMI port of the television.
• In Windows, navigate to Start > Settings >
  Devices > Connected Devices.
• Click on Add a device and wait for the adapter to appear, and then select the receiving adapter.

Once it has been connected, you can select how the display is projected by pressing the
Windows key + P.
