Hello,I've setup a new server PC as a testlab with Windows Server 2022 before introducing it in production in my work environment.PC Configuration:Intel i5-13600k64GB RAM non-ECC3x Seagate 20TB HDD SATA2x Samsung 2TB SSD SATA1x 1TB Crucial SSD M.2NVMeAfter installing everything from scratch, I created a new Mirror accelerated parity volume:1. Creating a new pool with all 5 of my test drives using Server Manager.2. Correct my test disks Media typa, where appropriate, using PowerShell.3. New-StorageTier -StoragePoolFriendlyName <Pool_name> -FriendlyName performance -MediaType SSD4. N

ReFS cannot fix corruption--can file be accessed at all?

• I don't think you can manually correct the file without eliminating the corrupted file and getting a fresh copy from the original

 

In Windows 10 Pro Storage Space, why can't I use ReFS with Parity?

You may not be able to select parity, as ReFS has Built-in resilience as NTFS does not have the same.

ReFS creates 64-bit checksum, with this in mind the mirrored volumes self check and heal where possible.

I would say this is why you cannot select a parity option for ReFS.

 

ReFS is not listed as a format option when creating a mirrored storage space

I have two Windows 10 computers. Both are upgraded from Windows 7. When I create a storage space on one of these computers, I can format a two-way mirrored storage space as ReFS, but the other computer only lists NTFS for the same two drives.

If I create a mirrored ReFS space on the first computer and then plug in the drives into the second computer, Windows pops up an error message saying "This version of Windows doesn't support the ReFS format on drive".

How can I enable ReFS on the second computer?
