Windows 10: MISSING 7 YEARS of TURBOTAX SUBMISSION DOCUMENTS?

Apparently, when I upgraded to Win 10 "Fall Creators" OS, v1703, from Win 7 on April,12,2018; I could no longer download any of my TurboTax Info submitted to IRS & Mass. from 2012-2017. TurboTax support felt the files are "hidden" on the computer. However, following Microsoft's procedure to recover hidden files; didn't workl. File Explorer reveals there are various files for all the tax years, but no specific tax documents. Does that mean they are permanently gone,; or what?

Windows 10 TurboTax Issue

I have the same problem. I'm using TurboTax 2015 home and business and am trying to install on my new laptop with Windows 10. It worked fine on the old one with Windows 7. I transferred all files using PC Mover. None of my five year versions of TurboTax
would work. Following community suggestions I deleted all TurboTax folders/programs. And then tried to reinstall from the CD, but first did the compatibility check changing it to Windows 7. I followed the instructions but still get a message when I try to
open the program indicating that windows 10 cannot locate the exe.

 

Turbotax Premier 2019 Will Not Load

I have Windows 8.1 on my Dell XPS 2720 computer. I used a CD to load Turbotax Premier 2019, and it appeared to load correctly. However, when I click on the desktop icon to activate the program, nothing happens. I have successfully used Turbotax in past
years on the same computer without any problems. Any suggestions?

 

Installing TurboTax 2018

When installing TurboTax 2018, I get a Disply box saying:

"Warning 1909. Could not create shortcut TurboTax Canada 2018.Ink. Verify that the destination folder exists and that you can access it". then there is a box with "OK" to be clicked in order to continue. the program then installs and seems to work, except
for the following:

The program is supposed to create this folder and write to it, but it doesn't do it. The shortcut also isn't created and when the program is run, nothing can be saved.

The same thing happened last year when I installed TurboTax, but I forget how I corrected the problem.

Any suggestions?
