Windows 10: Missing dll files windows error when opening a program [pls help thx]

Hello,I bought my desktop new very recently, an hp omen, I have windows 11,and ever since I got this pc, when installing a new program or running some of the games on steam, I always get these two errors, and the programs won't open. I tried so many things. I even reset the entire pc and reinstalled windows. I also installed microsoft visual c++ I still keep getting this error. Its very annoying because it makes half of the programs I want to open, unopenable. I contacted hp support, they honestly didn't do much. Online people say to download restoro and what not but I don't trust random prog

I suggest that you perform the steps below and check if it helps resolve the issue.

• Uninstall all those apps (using revo uninstaller) which are giving you msvcr100.dll and msvcp100.dll files missing error
• Open the link below

And download and install Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4.

3. Download VSU_4\vcredist_x64.exe if you’ll be installing this on Windows 10 64bit.

4. Download VSU_4\vcredist_x86.exe if you’ll be installing this on Windows 10 32bit.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the Start button, click on
  Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
  Enter.
• After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.

Step 2: Check if the .dll files are set as default under Default programs.

• Press Windows key, type default programs
  and select Default Programs.
• Click on Set your default programs.
• Under Programs in the left pane, click on the program you wish to access photos with and click on
  Choose defaults for this program.
• Under Extensions check if .dll
  is check marked or not. If not, check the box for .dll files.

• Did you make any changes to your computer before this started happening, like installing or uninstalling a program?

As an initial recommendation, we suggest that you disable your Startup programs to isolate the cause of the error. To do this, follow these steps:

• Right-click the taskbar and select Task Manager.
• Click More details.
• Go to the Startup tab.
• Right-click every listed program and choose Disable.
