Windows 10: missing drive D

i tried connecting an external hard disk to my laptop. but it was not showing up. so i went it to the settings and under drive setting changed some setting from online to offline. since then i am unable to view my drive D. how do i recover my drive with all the files?

Woke up to a missing D Drive

I keep my files on a D Drive (Internal Hard Drive) on a Dell Desktop

I woke to have the entire drive either deleted or missing

Under Disk Management it DOES NOT show up

I DONOT have a restore point unfortunately

Please walk me through steps to get this back
