Windows 10: Missing drivers after windows update

I just got my new Asus gaming laptop and installed all of the drivers using windows update but for some reason these drivers were not installed. I tried to update them automatically but it said there are no such drivers on my PC and I couldn't find the drivers on the Asus website. I need to know what they do and if they are important, and if so, how to Install them.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Follow the below to find out the latest update on your device:

• Press Windows + X, click on Programs and Features.
• Click on View installed updates from the left pane.

Try the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to check with the device status for drivers with yellow exclamation point in Device Manager.

1. Press
Windows + X keys from the keyboard, click on Device Manager.

2. Expand
DVD/CD ROM drives, right click on the driver.

3. Click on Properties
and check the device status.

Step 2: I suggest you to check for the error codes for the drivers from the below Microsoft article, try the troubleshooting steps mentioned and check if it helps.

Step 3: I suggest you to run
Hardware and Devices troubleshooter
as it checks for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.

• Press Windows key from the keyboard, type
  Troubleshooting and select it.
• Click on view all option on the upper left corner of
  Troubleshooting window.
• Select the Hardware and Device options from the list.
  
• Click Next to run the Hardware and Device
  Troubleshooter.
