    Missing DRM on WMA


    I interviewed my grandfather about his life story and made CDs on my laptop. I lost that laptop and so I ripped the CD audio to another laptop. That laptop crashed but I managed to retrieve the WMA files from the hard drive. That hard drive is gone too now. Now I cannot play them anywhere due to "DRM files/rights missing" on my new laptop.Please advise how I can get the files to play as it is of sentimental value to me.

    WMA DRM

    So I download some music from Nokia Music or MSN UK(which is the same thing really) and it comes in WMA DRM format, which is fine because my Nokia 5310 Xpress Music supports WMA, according to the specs and the Nokia Music website help page. However, when
    I try to synchronise it using Windows Media Player 11 as per teh Nokia Music instructions, it says I don't have the rights even though I have 5 synchronisations available according to properties list. WMP help says this may be because the device doesn't support
    the format.

    Any ideas, hopefully ones that don't involve using the nasty PC Suite.

    N95, WMA and DRM

    I recently purchased some soundtracks from tescodigital. These are WMA format and DRM protected. I've followed the instructions to transfer these to my N95 by trying to sync these to the phone using windows media player. This fails with an error. Going
    to web help gives error number C00D1236.

    I had read/assumed, possibly wrongly, that the N95 could handle all DRM protected WMA files. Could it be just some DRM versions?

    Has anyone else had this problem or even found a solution?

    Hi Guys

    Please can someone help me with a query

    I'm trying to syn DRM WMA music to my E90. I understand that this has to be done via Windows media player (because it is DRM). So far I have been unable to...I think this is because I do not have the Media Transfer protocol available as a USB connection mode.

    When I tried to sync using my N95 MTP was an available option

    Any suggestions?
