Windows 10: Missing email from folder

I lost all my emails from a folder in hotmail. Inbox and all other folders are fine, just one one folder is empty. I did not delete the contents of the folders. Have no idea where all the emails disappeared, those were important emails. Anyone has any idea what could have happened?

Missing emails in some folders e.g junk / spam

Hi folks
for those using IMAP with Outlook you might be missing some emails - particularly as there's some sort of "duplicity" between SPAM and JUNK folders -- you might only see a SPAM folder when it should be JUNK or the other way around (depending on ISP)

To get access and see all the folders and emails in them just right mouse click against any folder in the account's mailbox list e.g say the inbox and then uncheck the box as shown.





Hey presto --your emails should appear.

Pinned & Recent Folder Missing From Explorer in Start

I suggest you to follow the steps given below and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

• Open File explorer.
• Click on View and then Options.
• Choose Folder and search options.
• Under General Tab and under Privacy, make sure to place a check mark on Show recently used files and recently used folder in Quick access.

I have that box checked and see Spam and Junk mail in all accounts using Outlook 2016.
