Windows 10: Missing emojis after recent Windows 10 Update

Apologies for the rather inaccurate category that I've chosen for this post; nothing else seemed remotely accurate.I'm on build 19043, and I've realized that certain emojis are suddenly missing/not displaying properly. I realize this has to be something with the system font or something but I'm at a loss as to how to fix it after nothing seems to work nor be quite what my problem is. The emoji style itself has changed since this update, and I don't know its origin. Can someone help?For reference, this is what the windows emoji keyboard looks like for me right now:It really wasn't like this up

How to fix emoji keyboard not showing up using shortcut

Hi,

This issue is often caused by a corrupted or missing data file. To better isolate if this is a user profile specific or an emerging issue, we suggest that you create a new user profile and try to use the same keyboard shortcut to get the emoji keyboard to
show up. Here's the link for the steps on how to:
Set up accounts.

In the meantime, we'll give you the steps for a workaround to access the emojis. Here are the steps:

• Right-click on the Taskbar.
• Select the Show touch keyboard button option and a keyboard icon will show up on your
  Taskbar.
  
• Click the keyboard icon and select the emoji button.

Let us know how it goes and we'll assist you further if needed.

1. When you say “having NO EMOJIS”, may I know where exactly you are looking for the emojis?
   
2. What is the build of Windows 10 running on your system? To check that, press the
   Windows key and R key, type winver and press
   Enter.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
