    Missing File Privileges


    I'm sorry if this is not the best place to ask for help with Steam but I just really need help. I tried to install a game on steam but it said "missing file privileges" and before that it said "disk writing error". The only thing is that if I tried to install the game on my C: drive instead of my normal D: drive, it would work. The only other way to fix this is by running it in Administrator but I've never had to do that with Steam before. So I have limited it down to my D drive not having some sort of file privileges but I'm not sure and I'm stressing out about this.
