    Missing files after some sort of Windows 11 update


    Without my authorisation and without me knowing it, and while unattended, my desktop computer performed some sort of Windows 11 update. All my programs and apps seemed to revert to factory settings, my desktop background and settings had all changed and nothing would work without keying in a password etc. This includes Microsoft 365 and all Adobe programmes, plus my bookmarks had disappeared in Chrome and Edge.I had to shut down but on starting up after an overnight break nearly everything has reverted to as it was before. However, a folder labelled "Data drive" not a disk segment containing
