Windows 10: Missing Files

Hi,

I use an external HD exFAT with 2 PCsNTFS with W10 and all the content of some folders has disappeared. It were texts files, images and pdfs.

I’ve run W10 Defender, complete exam andOffline Scan, Microsoft Safety Scanner, Microsoft Windows Malicius Software Removal Tool,Nod32 and Avg tools and there’s no virus or it’s not detected.



I’ve tried opening W in Safe Mode, but there are no files, the folders are completely empty.



I’ve also run Check disc, still nothing.



I will appreciate if sb can help me or give some explanation.

Burning Files To cdr

I tried to drag a .txt file to the burn list, as suggested above, but it will not drop in. I get a message "+add to burn list" but I cannot get it to drop into the burn list. Is there another step I am missing?

 

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

For us to isolate the issue, we will need to ask you a few questions:

• What task are you trying to do every time that you get the error code “missing file rtl160.bpl?”
  
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
