    Missing fluent effects on my new laptop


    I just got a new HP Envy 15 and I am extremely happy with the build quality and performance of this laptop. However, Windows is missing a lot of the "fluent" design elements like the light effect on your mouse and certain transparency features as well. I have transparency turned on however, is there a fix for this? Computer is function just fine so its not a deal breaker.

    In the meantime, we suggest to update the OS build of your Windows 10 to 16299.251. Windows Updates may contain fix to the Fluent Design missing effects. To update your Windows 10, press
    Windows key + I > click Update & Security > select
    Check for Updates.

    as you can see...there is a missing fluent design in my pc..and my version is 16299.248

    The hover effect...glass effect...those are missing...i even tried re-install or clean install..nothing worked

    Fluent Design not being applied correctly

    I created a new profile and i can confirm that my profile is not corrupt as there is no effect in the new profile as well.
