Windows 10: missing graphics

On some websites on Microsoft edge (e.g.Betfair.com) page only shows text but on Firefox appears ok - this doesn't happen with all sites

Millennials have nothing on us hipster dudes, because we have the benefit of experience.

More and more, data is moving to the internet (what millennials call 'the cloud') because people are using their data on more than one device, and keeping data in the cloud makes that possible. You can access your to-do list, pictures, documents, etc. on
multiple devices by storing them in the cloud. That's what webmail is about - having your inbox and contacts and calendar always in sync no matter how you access them. And, believe it or not, they're probably more secure up there than they are in your living
room.

There are great replacements for Windows Live Mail. Easiest for you would be Outlook.com because Microsoft makes it easier to move everything to their own webmail system. You'll immediately be put off by the complicated configuration choices - dozens of
them - but don't be intimidated. Those things are built by scared kids who have no clue how to cook a meal from scratch or replace an air filter, or anything that doesn't have something to click on.

I actually use Gmail and prefer it to Outlook.com. (Can I say that in a Microsoft forum?)

Silverlight was Microsoft's attempt to compete with Flash for video and animations. Silverlight never took off so Microsoft abandoned it. And Flash itself is almost over and done with.

 

Missing Graphic?

Go into internet options, advanced tab, and click the "Reset internet explorer settings". Also reset your security and cookie settings in internet settings. Make sure you have Microsoft Silverlight installed along with any windows updates that may be pending.

Website (Betfair.com) works fine, did you try to clear the cache of Microsoft Edge?
