Windows 10: Missing home wifi SSID from laptop

My home wifi SSID has stopped displaying as a choice to connect to on my laptop. One day it was there - the next it was gone. the router is functioning as I can connect on my desktop, iphone, ipad and android phone. I have restarted the router. I took the laptop to work - and it connects - so the driver is working.there are 2 hidden - both with really low signal. I tried entering the SSID the name not the id# and the password on both - it didn't work. What happened and how do I get it restored?

WiFi USB Dongle SSID

I have purchased a Ralink Dual Band USB WiFi Adaptor in order to receive 5ghz on my Asus Laptop. I have installed the program but can't connect because the system keeps requesting the SSID. I can't find this on the packaging or anywhere else. Can anyone
suggest where I can find the SSID? Thanks

 

HP Laptop - After a clean installation of windows 10 - my home's WiFi SSID alone not showing up but neighbours WiFi SSID is showing up

I installed a clean copy of windows 10 using a USB drive on my HP laptop. I also formatted the disk as part of my installation.

All drivers were updated to the latest version using HP Support Assistant.

While other WiFi SSID are appearing in the list of networks, my very own home WiFi SSID is not showing up.

The SSID is not hidden.

Broadcast is enabled.

I even did a WiFI router reset (DLink DIR 825) and created a fresh configuration

My home Wifi's SSID is appearing on the other devices that I have (mac book pro, iPhone and another Office Lenovo laptop)

The other office Lenovo laptop also has windows 10 and my home's WiFi SSID is showing.

When I try to manually add the SSID, it gets added. However, it's not showing up when i try to connect via UI.

I also tried connecting via CMD prompt using commands

1. netsh wlan show profile

The SSID created is showing up in the profile.

2. netsh wlan connect ssid=YOUR_WIFI_SSID name=PROFILE_NAME

When i try to connect, it says "the network specified by profile "<name>" is not available to connect.

Please help resolve this.

 

HELP!!! IP Settings is missing in SSID

From above screen, if user click "edit", user can set static IP for SSID "YM-Room". This is not network adapter setting.



This setting can define IP settings for each SSID.
Example, your office Wifi do not provide IP address. When user try to connect to office Wifi, they can set static IP address for office wifi. When user is at home (home wifi with dhcp), user can connect home wifi without change static IP to dynamic IP because it is SSID based IP Settings.
