Windows 10: Missing license for app.

Hello,

I have purchased an app Nextgen Reader some time ago and as I ran it today it showed me a message stating that this app is not available for my account. It is visible in my purchase history but not in my apps. It worked yesterday and today it doesn't. Nothing has changed in the app itself in MS Store. It looks like my licence gone missing somewhere. I did reset it and it didn't help. There is also no option to reinstal it since MS Store prompts me to buy it once again. It's not a big deal... one buck or something, it's more about the error.

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

Thanks for replying spunk. That's the 'alphabetical' list I was referring to, none of these apps are in that 'All apps' list. Any more suggestions?

 

App Icons Missing
