    Missing Microsoft.C2R Signature Reader.Native.dll


    I was referred to this forum by a tech in the Visual Studio installer forum. I am trying to install Visual Studio 2022 Professional and the installer is failing because it can't find Microsoft.C2R Signature Reader.Native.dll.Per the tech's suggestions, I have run the system file checker SFC and run the .NET Framework Repair tool, both returned no errors.I tried to install 2021-04 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64-based Systems KB5001337 for Windows 10, version 1903 and later and received the message “The update is not applicable to your computer.”, There are no other av

    DLL Missing


    I actually posted the link for the "list of troubleshooting steps to resolve your boost_threads.dll problems" which is located half way down the page. I did not mean to promote any downloads.

    Why don't I just go back and indicate that on my original post? That way there's access to the 'step-by-step' instructions, which are accessed via those green 'plus' signs next to the topics.

    The problem is, that the required DLL is not actually even listed there.
    There are just dozens of download adware links from the top to the bottom.
