Discus and support Missing network shares after changing wifi adapters in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I added a new wifi repeater to my LAN.     Missing network shares after changing wifi adapters


    I added a new wifi repeater to my LAN.
    When i connect through it (better signal strength) to my modem i still have the internet.
    But none of my mapped drives work and i can't see any Homegroup PC's on my lan.
    As soon as i switch back to my regular wifi adapter they are all available again.

    Is my wifi adpater linked to my Homegroup and mapped shares ?
    How can i get my new adapter to map my network drives and Homegroup ?

    Right Click the WiFi icon and click Open Network and Sharing Center, after that, Change Adapter Settings in the window that opens. Right click your Adapter and then Properties, you'll find it under the Networking tab

    Connect internet through Ethernet not from WIFI on windows 10

    Control Panel > Network and Sharing > Change adapter settings > right-click on the WiFi adapter > select Disable
