Windows 10: missing photos in Phone Link - large timeline gap

The Phone Link app shows photos from my phone in reverse chronological order for the last 11 days or so, then jumps over months of photos, and continues at an unknown date. How do I get the app to show all photos or at least the most recent 2,000?

Does the same issue occur on the FB app also if you view your facebook timeline through the desktop browser version on your phone? And is your phone connected to a network throughout the whole day?

Microsoft Photos on my Windows 10 PC. How can I delete photos from the timeline?

Based on the description, I understand that you want to remove photos that are displayed on the timeline. To remove the photos from the timeline you can follow the steps mentioned:

1. Open Photos app.
   
2. Click on the Ellipsis on the top right corner.
   
3. Click on Settings.
   
4. Under Sources click on X to remove the folder, which has the photos that you want to remove from Timeline.

Windows Photos Viewer is an oddity; as I suggested, find a free downloadable image viewer you like, and use that.

I use a program in building my family tree- it lets me use an external viewer- simply whatever is set as default. Here you can see it displays the image in Photoviewer. I imagine Vuescanner requires you to specify the path literally.
