Windows 10: missing ram

    I recently bought an hp pavilion gaming laptop with 8gb of ddr4 ram, a ryzen 5 3550h cpu and a nvidia gtx 1050. As anybody would do I downloaded forza horizon 3 and booted up. Upon booting I received a warning saying that my system doesn't meet the minimum requirements. So I checked online on the minimum requirements and sure enough it needed 8gb of ram and I thought that's weird I have 8gb of ram so I opened up task manager and found out it was only using 6gb of ram. Does anyone know how to fix this? thank you.

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    To RAM or not to RAM...

    Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

    Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin missing ram :D

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
