Windows 10: Missing right click menu, or "open with..." option when want to open files from local network

Hi,Our WiFi router have an USB port where we can put external hard drive to it, and can share the files in the Network VIA FTP, so everyone at our family has access to the files in the same external hard drive at the same time.The problem is when we want to open video files, we must first download, and than play the video files instead of simply double clicking to it and opening them. Every android tablet and phone can play theese files without first downloading them they puffer, and download at the background while playing it.In Windows file Explorer when i want to open theese files there i

I just submitted this suggestion on Windows Uservoice:

The idea: the right-click menu for folders in File Explorer has an option called 'Open in new window', which opens that folder in a new File Explorer window. Very useful for copying and moving things, and opening destination folders without accessing the start menu a second time.

That feature has been in Explorer since at least Windows 7...

 

PDF files right context menu 'open' missing

I have recently found that I can no longer open PDF files with a double click. There is no longer an 'open' option in the right context menu, only an 'open with' farther down the list. Even this will not open files with Foxit PDF Reader or Word anymore, only with browsers such as Edge, Firefox and Brave. The files will 'print' as this is the top option. Other apps open correctly such as Docs, Xls and Jpegs as the top option of 'open' still appears. Any ideas appreciated.
