Windows 10: Missing 'save' button in personalisation - themes

Hi everyone, it's a pretty simple error, I want to be able to save a custom theme, but the save button is just missing compared to screenshots I've seen on the internet. My sounds seems to default to 'default' too, which is annoying, and I can't save!Any suggestions?

Personalised High Contrastr theme not reloading on restart

After the win 10 pro 17134 update, everytime i start the PC, it loads my high contrast personalised theme that i created

for a brief second initially on start up, and then switches to the standard high contrast theme.

Basically i cant get the personalised high contrast theme to stay "put". I need to manually reload it from the "personalisation settings" every start up.

The personalised theme is "saved" as a file in settings/personalisation ok, it just doesnt load and stay on start up.

I even re created and saved the personalised theme from scratch , but same result.. it gets wiped away and reset to the standard high contrast theme

on restart.

How do i get the personalised theme to "stay put" on start up. As i said it boots with it for a second, but reverts to the standard high contrast theme every time.

Win 10 Themes won't "save"

Whoops, false alarm. That did not work. My Custom theme is saved but still will not hold.

However these were the steps that worked last summer when I was researching the same problem.

Do I reset the Custom theme and than go to Appdata and delete those 2 files? Or do I delete those 2 files and than save a custom theme and when in the process do I reboot.

I certainly miss the Save button in this operation.

 

Personalising the Start menu doesn't save after reboot

Since the automatic upgrade this week for Windows many of my settings were reset including the Start Menu / Task Bar.

I have personalised both since the upgrade. The task bar icons stay personalised after reboot. However the Start Menu resets each time. Am I missing a step to save the changes or is there a glitch in the update?
