  1. Mistakenly enabled family

I mistakenly enrolled for Microsoft family when I didn't intend to do that. Now, I have a parent account as "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***" that I can't access and when I try to use the child account which is the one that I always use for my work and would like to use in future as well to access everything, it doesn't let me open chrome and many other applications. I don't have access to the parent account and I want to use the child account for everything. If possible, I would like to remove these family settings and just have one account for everything that is the child account. Please use the child

    :)

  3. Does Family Safety record screen time data even if not enabled?

I recently discovered activity reporting within Family Safety. I enabled it for my minor child this week. However, I would like to see their screen time use prior to the date I enabled it. When I select the date pull-down, it only shows from the day I enabled it.

    Questions:

    • Does Microsoft keep screen time data for an individual, even if activity reporting is not enabled?
    • If yes, is it possible to get this information? And what steps would be required to access it?
    Thanks!

Enableing downloads on family safety account

    Hi Prathu,

Please be informed, that if any website is restricted to the child account whenever the child tries to access a website or app that is above the rating you set in Family Safety, the website or app will be blocked.

The website is listed as suspicious which has stricter web filtering settings, will be blocked.
And that website appears on the suspicious sites list.

Hence, the option to enable downloads in restricted sites is not allowed.
