    Hi,

    I have tried to connect my daughter's laptop to our home HP/Samsung printer. Unfortunately as it is work laptop it is running Windows 10 Home in S mode and so it will not install anything outside the Windows Store.

    Windows Store does not seem to include the driver, possibly because the Samsung printer department was taken over by HP.

    Is there any way of installing the driver? I realise we could take the laptop out of S mode but this is not reversible and I do not want to interfere with it for security reasons.

    Windows 10 - driver for Samsung ML-2165 available? System doesn't find the printer .....

    Windows 10 does not find the printer Samsung ML-2165. It worked in the beginning for one or two times and then... end of the story. Same applies for all the other printers as well. Thanks a lot for your help.

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

    Let me assist you with your query.

    The printer may not be compatible Windows 10, since the printer driver is not available for Windows 10. However, I suggest you to go to the below link, download the latest updated printer and install it in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

    • Right-click on the setup file of the driver and select Properties.

    • Select Compatibility tab.

    • Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.

    • Let the driver install and then check the functionality.
