Windows 10: ML python code works fine in old PC and throws BSOD in new PC . Please help

ML python code using Anaconda works fine in old PC I7-6800k CPU @3.4GHz 3.40GHz RAM = 64 GB and throws BSOD in new PC I9-14900K 3.20 GHz RAM = 160 GB usable. Please help

BSOD help with new PC

Hi,

My new PC (Win 10) has a BSOD every few minutes with a DPC Watchdog violation.

I've followed a number of the typical debug steps:

• Updated drivers inc. chipset and graphics
• In device manager checked IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers, the driver is storahci.sys and I've tried to updated using the Standard SATA AHCI Controller on my PC
• No external devices are attached
• removed AV
• Disabled Sound drivers in device manager

Still the problems are occurring frequently. I have a minidmp file here: Microsoft OneDrive

and there is also a 700MB memory.dmp that I can share if it is helpful?

Pc bsod to bios

Currently replying on iPhone, I’ll give you a proper timeline Step 1) during the program of tuneup plus my pc bsod 3 times but I was finally able to get the info Step 2) Restore point was easy and done quick which now leads to step 3 Step 3) After starting the WDV my pc bsod with the stop code of “System thread exception not handled” following the steps I open command prompt and tried to turn it off which says that nothing was changed, so then after a couple of bsod’s later I manage to go back to my restore point which now leads to a problem I cant seem to fix where when I try to open my pc it says something is wrong with my pin with error code (0x80090016) If needed I do have the tuneup plus info Trying to solve the pin problem if anyone suggestions please inform me.

 

Migrating to new pc and virtualize old pc

hello everyone, I got a new pc and I wanted to "migrate" (do you say that? or clone?) the old pc on the new one. The idea that I have based on my knowledge would be to have cloned the disk of the old pc to a vhd or vhdx file in the new pc and have a dual boot on vhd. Also I would like to have a second vhd clone that I can use with a virtual machine at the same time as the new pc system. I am aware that there is a "sysprep" command that prepares for a cloning on different hardware, besides I have seen that there is also a disk2vhd software that could help. But I also noticed that macrium allows you to prepare a backup to be restored to new hardware. BUT I don't know how it works. For the virtualization part I have an idea of a "virtual2phisical" software. Obviously mine are just ideas that I don't know how to actualize in detail. Is anyone aware of a faster way? Do you have any better suggestions for implementing this project? Can you help me with the steps to take? Thanks,
