    If that setting is already enabled, then I suggest as the next troubleshooting step might be Mozilla Safe Mode (not to be confused with Windows Safe Mode)):

    MMS issue on Lumia 920

    Here is some information of my issue (past and present) and all the steps I've taken.



    This is the 3rd Lumia 920 I've had, all 3 were purchased new out of box. All have faced the same issue

    My issue is that I receive MMS messages infrequently.

    • Group texts received are about 2 out of every 5 - receive about 40% of them. Always have to send direct messages to my friends asking them the messages that I've missed (annoying)
    • Picture messages received are 0 - so I don't receive any of them any more
    Steps that I've taken

    • Replaced SIM 4 times - i laugh at the person that recommends that solution
    • soft reset once
    • hard reset once
    • Talked to AT&T tech support - they checked the network for my area, checked settings on my phone and account, and other recommendations
    • Added MMS APN settings
    • Talked to Nokia Support - no issues with them after looking at firmware versions and device tests/hard resets
    This is my last resort... What can be happening?

    I've looked up on forums and such, and this issue seems to be happening to a bunch of people. And even across multiple devices (I personally know 3 people that have similar issues, them being on HTC 8x's)



    Suggestions welcome...

    Can't read and send MMS

    Hi Ludi,

    When you change your SIM card with a different network, you have to manually set up the APN settings for the internet and MMS in order to work. Sometimes the network sends it over the air, and all you have to do is to save it. In your case, it seems that it's
    not properly configured, that's why your device can't send or receive MMS. To better assist you, please answer these questions:

    • Can you provide the error message or code you get?
    • Have you checked if the MMS settings is set correctly?
    • Could you provide the troubleshooting steps that you've tried so far?
