Windows 10: Mobile drives

I purchased a drive to save my personal information on, but when I go to save something to it, it doesn't recognize it. It shows up as a device just like the monitor or the mouse, but not as somewhere to put information. How do I fix this? It is attached with a USB cord just like a thumb drive.

Hard drive/ OS issue

Windows Mobile Device Center error

Sync center will provide the synchronization required. You will need to reconfigure the sync. Follow these steps:

1. Windows key + X > Control Panel > Sync Center
   
2. Select Sync step
   
3. Connect your device via USB

Driving mode in W10 Mobile malfunctioning/ can't disable

Thank you for posting your query to Microsoft Community. We understand that would like to disable driving mode on your phone that is running on Windows 10 Mobile.

Please follow these steps:

• On Start, swipe over to the All apps list, and then select Settings > System > Driving
  mode.
• Do one of the following:
  • To turn off driving mode for one time only, turn off Status. It will stay off until the next time it connects to a Bluetooth device that's set up
    for driving mode.
  • To turn off driving mode for a particular Bluetooth device, select Add devices, and then select the Bluetooth device name. The device will still appear
    in the list and be available to connect to your phone, but Ready for driving mode will be removed from under the device's name. If you want to turn it on again later,
    select that Bluetooth device again.
