  1. Mobile headset in back panel not recognized

    Hello,

Like the tittle said, i have headset for mobile phone which i was used on my PC in the back panel and recognized as headphones with Realtek HD Audio Manager. But, recently I changed my motherboard so now I have VIA HD VDeck, and i don't know how to do the same thing. The VIA driver I downloaded from Gigabyte website, accordingly with my motherboard chipset. So, my headset is in back panel, the front panel isn't in function. In the advance settings in VIA HD VDeck, i have enabled independent headphones, disable front panel detection and redirected headphone and enable When plug in a device, auto pop up setting dialog. But when i plug in back panel, there's no choose for headphones.

In the VIA HD VDeck, also in Control panel of Windows, headphones and microphone are recognized in front panel, which I disabled in advance settings, but they are plugged in the back panel.

I can hear sound from my headphones only when they recognized as Speakers, and front panel detection is enabled in VIA HD VDeck.

So, my question is how to get headphones properly recognized and hear sound from them?

    Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue Mobile headset in back panel not recognized :p

This is what i see in device manager. Im not sure if the Speakers/Headphones (Realtek High Definition Audio) is the one your saying to disable, as that is what is default in playback devices in the sounds panel.

Setting Stereo Mix as the default recording device and disabling everything else still didnt get the mic working, even when the headset is plugged into the microphone only audio port or the mic + sound audio port.
