Windows 10: Mobile Hotspot Missing

I'm running a windows 10 home on my hp laptop 15-ay196nr which came with a mobile hotspot function out of the box.

I suddenly lost the function after my device had to reset due to a "boot device not found" error and followed these steps to fix it:

. We did a clean install for windows 10 home but for some reason, the mobile hotspot option was gone. Installed all drivers for my respective laptop model via hp website. Performed netsh wlan show drivers showed hosted network supported: NO


Can someone please try to help me find a solution for this? I've been searching for possible fixes online but can't seem to find anything that works.

Windows 10 Mobile Hotspot Not working

Hi,

Your Bluetooth connection may be enabled which prevents you from setting up your mobile hotspot. To have this addressed, we suggest turning off the Bluetooth connection and see if you're able to set up your mobile hotspot. Follow these steps:

• Open Settings and select Devices.
• Click Bluetooth, then toggle it OFF.

Once done, check if you can now turn on your computer's mobile hotspot. Let us know how it goes.
